Managed by:

Scottish Traditional Skills Training Centre

Project Description

The project is to develop a Centre which will deliver a series of Built Heritage Conservation and Land-Based Craft Skills Training.  Course participants will gain the necessary knowledge and skills through short courses, career development and vocational training to enable them to meet the current and future requirements of Scotland’s traditional buildings and landscape heritage.

Employment opportunities will be increased for individuals upon completion of the training through attainment of accredited Vocational Qualifications and Continuing Professional Development.

There is strong support for this project from the construction industry.  Further Education establishments are keen to work in collaboration with the Centre.
