Project Description

Following detailed community consultation and a structural survey of the Port Erroll Hall, the project is to implement a number of measures designed to improve the Hall for the benefit of the community.  Proposed activities include energy efficiency measures and other works including, rewiring, replacement of flooring, installation of damp course, roof improvements and insulation and installation of solar panels for hot water supply.  The works identified will ensure that the improved facility can be used by a wide range of community groups.

Quote from Participating Organisation

Fiona Abenheimer, Treasurer of Port Erroll Hall Management Committee

“The Committee was absolutely delighted to have secured LEADER funding.  It is an invaluable source of support for Halls such as ours and we are very grateful that our project was considered to be suitable for funding. Quite frankly, it would be almost impossible for us to proceed with the work on the Hall without the support from LEADER.”
